Pharma - Business Development Manager


Clarity Global Group Ltd is a leading Pharma & Health Sales and Distribution company. We work with a number of manufacturers providing strategic sales advice, storage and distribution. Supplying to full & short line wholesalers, pharmacies, GP surgeries and hospitals.

Founded since 1999, we have had huge success over the years, winning numerous awards and most recently in 2020 being recognised in “Pharma Fast 50” as one of the fastest growing businesses. With total group sales exceeding €100m in 2019, we are in a time of huge growth and are looking for Pharma-Business Development Managers to manage new business development activities for the company. Driving sales activities and the acquisition of new business across the Clarity group.

Duties of the Pharma-Business Development Manager include-

  • Seeking opportunities for business development within a defined area or directed sector
  • Responsible for heading up expansion in new markets, as well as continued expansion among existing clients
  • Developing and maintaining records of all customer and territory information, abiding by GDPR legislation always
  • Building relationships with existing clients to increase current spend of tailored services
  • Driving peak performance and sales success across the organisation
  • Creating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements
  • Monitor market trends, competitor products and customer needs. To identify new SMART business objectives and provide timely feedback to all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets and delivering them


What we ask in you-

  • A pharmaceutical, medical or healthcare background- Essential
  • A Business Development Manager who has worked to targets, with a proven track record in sales over achievement, and winning new business at all levels
  • Natural hunter
  • Ability to influence high-level purchasing decisions and manage relationships effectively
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
  • Shows an understanding of the challenges facing all industry’s at present, and illustrates knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry
  • Highlight cost savings to the perspective client
